Ploerdut is a charming village four miles north west of Guemene-sur-Scorff. Meaning literally, the parish of St. Ildut, the village name keeps alive the memory of its' founding bishop. The 13th century village church has many fine Romanesque features and the population of just over 1,500 is well served by a selection of bars and cafes. The village also boasts an equestrian centre and tennis facilities.
