Getting To Brittany

Over recent years the travel options between the United Kingdom and Brittany have grown significantly and now guests can choose between air, sea and road. Go By Boat

Brittany Ferries cross from Plymouth, Poole and Portsmouth to St Malo and Roscoff in Brittany or to Cherbourg and Caen in Normandy. P&O European Ferries cross from Portsmouth to Cherbourg in Normandy. Condor Ferries operate their Sea Cat from Poole to Cherbourg and St. Malo and HoverSpeed offer crossings between Dover and Calais as well as Newhaven and Dieppe. The Dover/Calais route is serviced by HoverSpeed's superseacat, at 100m long, superseacat is the largest monohull fast car ferry operating in UK waters and has capacity for 674 passengers and 148 vehicles. The Newhaven/Dieppe route operates the seacat, an 81m fast ferry with space for 654 passengers and 140 vehicles.

Go By Road

Eurotunnel is now a well established option for visiting France. The Channel Tunnel links Folkestone with Calais in a journey time of just 35 minutes. 

Go By Air

Visitors may choose to fly to Brittany. RyanAir operate a service between London Stansted and Dinard.
